    ART PRIZE

Griffin Gallery

Griffin Gallery, an experimental space in the London HQ of fine arts products manufacturer Colart, wants to become a centre for emerging art. Our programme included partnering with the Saatchi Gallery to host its annual Saatchi Showdown, profiling the Griffin Gallery director with thought leadership pieces in arts titles, and collaborating with artists’ studios including Bridget Riley to reveal the creative community in West London through talks and tours. We also took an existing asset – the annual Griffin Art Prize – and elevated it, bringing national art critics onto the judging panel and persuading more than 20 universities to promote the prize to their top students. Entries for the Griffin Art Prize increased significantly, and extensive media coverage helped to position the gallery as a contemporary art destination as well as a place for debate, networking, and creative activity.

  • “Kallaway has provided great support at a critical time and they’re an invaluable extension to my team. They know the visual arts world and the business of running a gallery.  They’ve taken time to understand what we’re trying to achieve from both a curatorial and business perspective and created a campaign that goes beyond just media coverage.”
