Media Buying Strategy and Measurement
Marketing impact is often held back by poorly planned and over priced paid media that delivers weak results. All of which can difficult to spot and change unless you know the right questions to ask and adjustments to make. This training is for marketing leaders who want to be better able to improve the results their media buying is delivering. Media Director Rupert Bean will teach you how to brief your media planning and buying team, interrogate media plans and put in place measurement and reporting criteria that best enables you to judge success so you can make more informed media planning decisions to help your business and its goals. Training is limited to a group size of eight people providing an opportunity to work closely with Rupert and learn from him and other participants in a collaborative, supportive and informal manner. Lunch and after session drinks will also be provided.

About your trainer
Rupert Bean has 26 years of experience developing and delivering highly effective media campaigns for some of the UK’s best-known entertainment brands, cultural venues and institutions, live performances, and corporate clients.
He is adept at helping national and regionally based brands deliver measurable integrated campaigns across all platforms and channels relevant to their audiences for commercial success.
His experience includes destinations such as The Design Museum, the Barbican, Royal Museums Greenwich, Dreamland, Bristol Zoo and Wellcome Collection as well as stand out cultural and entertainment events such as The London Original Print Fair and focused initiatives in the UK regions and cities for the UK Unboxed Festival.
Rupert is also an expert in media campaigns for performance and theatre brands, leading on campaigns for The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Shakespeare Company, The National Theatre, Graeae and Opera North. He has a specialist knowledge of the West End which has seen him mastermind the success of campaigns for Jersey Boys, Billy Elliot the Musical and Dirty Dancing.
Rupert extends his passion for entertainment into writing and directing the UK’s largest amateur pantomime which attracted audiences and celebrities alike when it ran for ten years in London. He also is big fan of trivia and quizzing – which has seen him compete in many popular TV shows. And he's a dedicated Whovian and Trekkie. Needless to say these interests contribute to his entertaining and effective style of training!
