Shakespeare's London life revealed in court
With the media landscape abundant with Shakespeare 400 anniversary news - the question facing any new bard related story is, is it “to be or not to be”.
To cut through this busy news agenda, King’s College London and The National Archives – working together for the first time – appointed Kallaway to launch their ground breaking exhibition ‘By Me William Shakespeare’ that brings together nine Elizabethan royal court or legal documents to tell the story of Shakespeare’s life in London. These include four of the six remaining signatures from the great man himself.
Our campaign successfully launched the exhibition last week generating over 50 stories in the UK alone all increasing public awareness and driving ticket sales.
Importantly, with international media coverage appearing in outlets as diverse as ABCAmerica to Xinhua in China our campaign has also provided a platform for the expertise of Kings College London and The National Archives to be showcased around the world .
By Me William Shakespeare is on until 29 May 2016, at the Inigo Rooms, Kings College London, Somerset House East Wing. Tue - Sun 10.00 - 18.00 (until 20.00 Thu). Tickets here
